Mary Margaret Allen
Mary Margaret Allen is a program coordinator and research assistant with the Energy Security and Climate Change Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). In this capacity, she supports the program’s research objectives, in addition to its event series and public outreach initiatives. Her interests include energy policy and climate change. Prior to joining CSIS, Mary Margaret worked as an environmental scientist at Geosyntec Consultants. During her time there, she provided technical support in environmental investigations of contaminated sites under various state and federal programs on behalf of government, manufacturing, and energy sector clients. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Hamilton College with a B.A. in geosciences and minors in mathematics and Hispanic studies.
